Leah Rustomjee is a film director based in London with a diverse practice spanning documentary, branded and narrative. Her films aim to reflect the multiplicity of the human experience, bridging cultural and generational divides in the hope of inspiring curiosity and empathy.
In 2018, she was nominated for the New Talent award at the BFI Future Film Festival and her films have screened at the BFI, Barbican, UCLA, Zoroastrian World Congress and international film festivals. Her first narrative short film on mixed heritage identity, ‘Same, Same?’, was funded by the BFI and will be released this coming year.
